How to find us

You can reach us by plane, train or car.

By plane

Arrival at Frankfurt airport (FRA), Stuttgart (STR) or Munich (MUC). Take a train or rent a car.

By train

Take a train to Goeppingen station. The station Goeppingen is a stop of the ICE high speed trains at the Stuttgart-Munich route. From Goeppingen station you will reach us from the bus station ("ZOB") using the bus line 5 direction Wangen in about 13 minutes or by taxi (approx. 5 km, 10-15€).  Leave the bus at the bus stop named "Faurndauer Straße Hanglich".

ICE high speed train connections from other cities: Use a connection train at the Stuttgart or Munich main station.

Since 2007 there is a high speed connection Paris-Stuttgart available. Travel time Paris - Goeppingen is approx. 4,5 hours including train change in Stuttgart main station.

From Stuttgart main station there are several regional trains to Goeppingen available as well.

By car

Some additional information:

Signs and numbers for streets
In Germany the signs related to the motor ways ("Autobahn") have a blue background with white letters. Each "Autobahn" has a number "Annn". Many exits have a number inside a circle, here referred to as (xx). Odd numbers represent motorways in South-North direction, Even numbers such in East-West direction. As a general rule: the smaller the number the longer the Autobahn.
Other major streets ("Bundesstrasse") are marked with dark yellow background and black letters. Each "Bundesstrasse" has a number "Bnnn".
In addition, there are minor streets numbered with "Lnnnn" ("Landesstrasse") and "Knnnn" ("Kreisstrasse").
Navigation System
If available, please try to choose a car with built-in navigation system and "dynamic route calculation". Such systems calculate the best route based on the current traffic situation. Such calculations are of course much better than our fixed route descriptions.
Speed limits
Autobahn No general limits. However, mostly limited to 120 km/h or less by signs.
Bundesstrasse General limit is 100 km/h.
Cities Inside all cities and villages, the speed limit is 50 km/h, unless no signs explicitly allow a higher speed or limit t a lower speed. In some areas there are speed limit zones. Most often the zones limit to 30 km/h.
